Bathing/Grooming
Although we don’t have a professional groomer on staff, LovingCare Veterinary provides routine baths, nail trimming, and ear plucking. We also offer basic clipping such as removing mats or excess hair around eyes and tail. These procedures may involve light sedation which will be determined by our veterinarian.
Boarding
Boarding is another valuable service LovingCare Animal Hospital offers to clients. Our full time kennel staff is happy to provide feeding, walking, and personalized care to your furry family members when they cannot be with you. You can drop off or pick up your pets during our regular business hours.
Prescriptions/Refills
There are several ways to refill your pet’s prescriptions. In an effort to make your pet’s health care as convenient as possible, you can request a refill for your pet’s prescribed medications by submitting a form on our website. You can also stop by LovingCare Animal Hospital during normal working hours or call us on the phone.
Treatment/Surgery
LovingCare Veterinary is a full service medical, surgical and dental facility in Englewood. Our office is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools including an in-house lab. In addition to preventative and internal medicine, we also specialize in endoscopy procedures and orthopedics.
Dr. Steinbrecher, LovingCare veterinarian, has been my vet for the past years. She took wonderful care of my dog; despite a heart condition, thanks to great care, I had my Chihuahua Poncho for 15 years. Now I have 3 cats, all rescues, and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. While expensive, he uses the latest technology. Last week my cat Bumpy had an ultrasound guided liver biopsy - and Dr. Steinbrecher's office called my home the next day to see how Bumpy was feeling. Lab tests showed Hepatitis, and Dr. Steinbrecher prescribed several medications - I will be going back in 2 weeks for blood tests and medication adjustments. My dogs have been clients of LovingCare Vet for the past 5 years. I have been extremely happy starting with the way I am greeted by the nurses as soon as I enter all the way up to Dr. Steinbrecher who is a true professional. She takes the time to explain what is wrong with your pets and also listens to what you have to say without rushing you out. She is very gentle with my 2 dogs and they are very comfortable being around him. If you call them up with a problem after hours, you always get a call back in a timely manner. You know the place is well liked by even your pets as my 2 dogs are still wagging their tails as they are entering their office. Professional, friendly and comprehensive. Dr. Iolanda Steinbrecher is calm, genial and capable, thoroughly explaining his examination and ensuing diagnosis in a clear, concise manner.
