Bathing/Grooming
Regular grooming gives your pet not only an attractive appearance but keeps their coat and nails healthy.
Many pet owners let their dog go for months between being groomed, which can lead to different problems including painful mats, skin disorders, excessive shedding, flea and tick infestation, and many other problems that can go unnoticed without a professional groomer.
We offer basic grooming needs from baths and brush out to manicures and pedicures. We are able to take care of any special bathing needs your pet may have. From medicated baths for treatment of sensitive skin to insecticidal bathing to treat external parasites (fleas and ticks), we are able to meet your pets specific needs. Do you have an elderly pet that has trouble standing for long periods of time? Our caring kennel staff is more then willing to help and do grooming on your pet’s schedule.
The biggest thing is we are developing a trusting relationship with your pet. All pet owners can help the process by caressing your dog’s ears and rubbing his legs and feet so that they won’t be afraid when working in those areas.
Please understand your dog should be groomed at regular intervals.
Drop your pet off or add on a bath after your next office visit. Do you have any medical concerns or are your pets vaccines due? Just let the front desk know when you drop off and the doctor will see your pet during their “spa day”.

Boarding
The Veterinary Center of LovingCare Animal Hospital is a safe, comfortable place where your pet can stay and play when you are away.
We offer full boarding services for both dogs and cats. A separate boarding area is maintained for cats and feline visitors are provided a deluxe kitty condo with plenty of places to lounge, climb and scratch.
We want your pet’s stay with us to be as comfortable as possible. We encourage you to bring your pet’s food from home and bring any toys or blankets that might make your pet feel a little more at home. All boarding guests must be up-to-date with all vaccinations. If your pet is not current with his or her vaccinations, we can provide a vaccination at an additional charge.
Reservations are required for all boarding guests. Please call us for pricing information or to make a reservation for your pet.
Prescriptions/Refills
We stock many of the pharmaceuticals your pet may need. This includes heartworm preventative, flea and tick products, supplements, commonly prescribed medications and shampoos. You may access our refill request form online and receive an email or call when it is ready to be picked up. We also work with a veterinary compounding pharmacist. This allows us to offer more options for medicating your pet. Many medications can be produced as liquids or soft treats in a variety of flavors. By purchasing your medications from us or a reputable pharmacy, you will ensure that you receive the manufacturer’s guarantee.
For example, many heartworm products are backed by a guarantee that they will prevent heartworm and certain intestinal parasites. If an animal is diagnosed with parasites while on their product, companies will pay for the treatment. However, if these products are obtained through unlicensed internet pharmacies the companies will not stand behind the product guarantee. Treatment can be costly and using products obtained through these pharmacies may mean more frequent heartworm and fecal sample testing for your pet.
